Derek, hand bloddied in pain, stopped. He screamed out, about a good 20 seconds before stopping. "Fuck....it hurts, the pain.", he said, collasping on the ground. He held his hand up, examining it, how horrible it must look. It obviously needed medical attention, but a regular hospital would only show his blood contained Lycanthropy. So he relaxed, bathing in pain.

Rift heard the scream, head lifting from being buried into her knees. She quickly became worried, but closed her eyes trying to fight it. She didn't want t be worried about him right now, she was supposed to be angry at him! She grit her teeth, slowly standing up as it seemed her every fiber fought it. Still, she followed the sound slowly and quietly to where Derek was, standing back a few feet.

Derek seen Rift out of the corner of his eyes. "Oh, don't worry about me, I'm clearly fine.", Derek said, getting up. He had clearly left a small puddle of red ooze on the ground. Giving her one final look, he shook his head. He turned, starting to walk away from her. He seemed to be angry, or really despressed. "I'm...sorry....maybe...you deserve better than me.", he said, storming off as Luke watched.

Luke left however.

Rift felt a lump grow in her throat. She didn't like the way he was talking to her, the way he was acting. She clenched her fists as he began to walk off. That look he gave, that look of disappointment, anger, sadness. She couldn't stand it. It mad her both sad and enraged, she didn't know whether to be furious at him or sad. "Go on then, run away like you always do!" she said loudly, tears in her eyes. Instead, she sat down where he'd been, crossing her arms over her knees as she stared int te pool of deep red blood.

Those words struck Derek like a punch or a kick could've struck him. But it stung like venom, floating through his mind. He stomped back towards her, staring down at her. He made his hand visible. He gave her a good 5 minutes of silence before he pounced onto her. Forcing her on her back, Derek growled, forcing his lips onto Rift's. This was his way of saying sorry in a way she'd like. He broke off, keeping her pinned down as he looked as her face.

Rift squealed a bit as she landed on her back, trying to fight Derek off her at first. She didn't want to fall right back into it, letting hm get away with it again. But of course, she did. She couldn't help it and practically melted there again. Only a few moments later, she was kissing him right back. She whimpered, breaking the kiss and looking up at him. "You can be so mean to me," she said with a pout, not at all talking about being actually mean.

Derek seemed to understand. "Yeah, I know, but, I....", Derek started. A tear trickled down his face, and Derek was surprised as he cried, finding himself at a loss of words. His eyes paniced. "I'm just worried, stressed, scared of The Change.", Derek said. He buried his face into the ground behind Rift.

Rift simply wrapped her arms around his torso, holding her cheek to him. "Well, soon you'll have help with that...being worried about it will only make it worse..." she said, knowing that stress could cause the change. She could hear his heartbeat, and feel her own throbbing inside her. "Well you know, there are a lot of stress relievers..." she started, closing her mouth right away and burying her face into him.

Derek barely heard Rift. Lifting his head, his gaze was on her. "You mean...you wanna...", he started, choking on his own words.

Rift blushed, only lifting her head enough to show her eyes. "I um..." she started, not really wanting to say anything else. He should have been able to tell she'd been wanting him, but he kept holding off. It was driving her crazy! No pun intended.

Derek looked at her. He remained quiet. "You do want me that bad..", Derek said. "I'm not ready to go that far, I dont' want to feel like Im' pushing myself or you to it.", he said. Derek wouldn't admit it, but he wouldn't cross foreplay off, because touching each other innapropriately, he could easily enjoy it. "Can we just cuddle, I mean, I certainly don't mind you touching...but.", he said, sitting up.

Rift sighed, letting her head fall back. Her entire body was throbbing in excitement. "I do want you Derek. A lot in fact...I'd be willing to do...whatever you want to," she said, looking up at the stars, and then to Derek. "Does that sound good to you?"

"Then my body is your toy.", Derek said. "Just no.....sex, foreplay is fine, Im' just not that ready yet.", Derek said, laying back and giving his body to Rift's lust.

"Well that would seem awful selfish if only I got your body," Rift said, leaning into Derek. She let her fingernails drag across his torso lightly. "Do you want mine? Fair trade?" She half joked looking up to his eyes.

"Yeah, you can go first though, I need to relax.", Derek said, enjoying her hand. "A fair trade is fair, after all, All is fair in love and war, he growled out.

Rift's hand wandered, dragging down his chest to his belt line. "Now see, you're probably hoping for me to go down here," she whispered, her fingers gently gliding across his stomach just above his pants. Instead, she went up beneath his shirt playing with his bare chest. She leaned up, looking into Derek's eyes. "You know, I like it when you're forceful with me..." She whispered seductively before pressing her lips to his, hand gliding back down toward his belt.

Derek felt Rift's hand. It was cold, soothing, compared to his body. He nodded when he fingers, stopped above his belt. He looked at her, meeting her kiss. "Yeah...", he said quietly, nervous. I guess I still don't feel completely ready, Derek thought as he watched her hand.

Rift watched his face. The pleasure was mixed with a sense of being unsure. She stopped her hand, wrapping it around his side instead. She rested her head on his chest. "You don't have to do anything you don't want to," she whispered. Unfortunately, she was wet again and so clenched her legs together.

"I know.", he said, his hand running through her hair. "But you want this...how I've been acting, you deserve what ever you want.", Derek said. "And I mean it....", Derek added. Luke walked by, ignorant of them, before stopping. He looked back, barely in shock. "And I thought Jace was the only one who ran off after someone.", Luke said.

Rift ran her hand back and forth Derek's torso lightly as he spoke. She wanted him, but she wouldn't push him for anything. After all, she was pretty shy about the situation too. That's when she heard rustling in the bushes, glancing up to see Luke standing there. Her heart jumped to her throat as she clung to Derek. She scrunched up her nose a bit at Luke, ruining the moment. "Says you who's walking around out here. I thought you were sleeping in a tree."

"I couldn't get comfortable, something was bugging me, so I thought I'd take a walk.", Luke said. "But I can see your busy.", Luke added slowly walking away.

Derek seemed a bit worried. "Jason...", he said quietly.

"Bothering you..." Rift repeated in a mumble as Luke began walking away. She quickly turned her head to Derek. "I'm sure Jace is fine..." She said, feeling a bit of emptiness well up inside her. "He's probably just trying to get Cathy's attention right now," she finished, not wanting him to go but expecting him to. She'd felt like last on his list since Jace arrived, but she wouldn't let it show. After all...it had only been a couple days.

"Your right, I shouldn't let him be my first priority, he seems fine with Luke watching him.", Derek said. He was worried, forced to watch his three blood brothers shot in front of him. He shivered at the memory, turning pale, skin cold.

Derek simply looked worried, and so Rift sat up. She wrapped her arms around her knees, resting her cheek on the to look at Derek. "It's alright...you can go check on him if you really want to..."

Derek felt her get up. He himself didn't want to. "No...it's just instinct that I worry, pack mentality, but it would be different if I trusted Luke a bit more.", Derek said. He shook his head, staying down. He pulled her onto him again. "So where were we at again?", he asked her.
